I have two cuboids. I rotate them 90. I duplicate and mirror one of them and the duplicated part is rotated back. In the picture I mirrored the small part on the left. You can see the resulting green part is turned 90.

Hello Patrick

I don't seem to be able to repeat this one, does it repeat consistently for you using a newly created file? Which version of Shark / Shark FX are you using?

All the best

Nick,
I'm using build 741. This type of thing has happened several times. This is the best example I've had. The files where this happens may originally be CU files. Would that make a difference?

This bug happens all the time... it was mentionned and detailed before on this forum (with attached files).
It's so common that I use the workaround without thinking : stitch the block before rotation or symmetry...
Of course, I loose all history and possibility to modify dimensions of the block...

Time for action ?

Hello All

Had a look at previous posts and tried to repeat again without success even using sample file provided by JL. So I'm either completely stupid or it's been fixed in latest development build. I've uploaded quick movie to our website, as forum seems to be having a problem with it, let me know if I'm doing something wrong...

You do it well Nick.
Though I'm sure I got this issue last sunday with b740.
The only difference is my working space isometric.
Maybe a x/y confusion ? I'll check...

Did you try that one with the attached file :
http://forum.punchcad.com/showthread.php?t=837&highlight=bugster

I just checked that every mentionned option is still a bug... with me!
isometric or not...

Hello JL

Finally got it to repeat. It would seem that if rotation is about z axis then rotated block can be copied without issue. However, if the rotation is about either x or y axes then copies are always transformed incorrectly. Hopefully this will narrow it down a little for the development team.

Thanks Nick, found and fixed in next upload, all products. The two point block was recalculating it's local coordinate system which got rid of the rotation.
