Deform to curve just doesn't work right !

Why ?

You select a surface .. then you select a constraint curve.

Sometimes the face will move .. however, I've literally never had it hit the constraint curve

Often, it doesn't move - yet the feature tree says that it's now a 'deform face'

Hi jol,

Is it supposed to work on surfaces?

It works OK on faces of solids (shark FX 737 PC), to hit the curve I just need to enter a very large Gain size.

you're quite right Steve, I am having some success with solid 'faces' and extremely high numbers like 50,000

However, it allows the selection of surfaces .. just like bend and thicken tools do. But the results are rubbish

Perhaps it should just not allow you to select surfaces !?
