Importing pdf pictures? (#3388)

I needed to import a pdf picture file in ViaCad7, and the only viable way (on my Mac) I could find was to convert it to a jpeg with Preview (hope that's the right name, my Mac speaks Dutch), and import it into VC. However, the anti-aliasing creates a very blurry picture. I tried the bmp format, but VC did not swallow that for some reason (although the import tool does mention that format. Maybe it's Apple's way of telling me something ;)) Anybody knows a better way?

I tried it just now, it works but the result is the same amount of blurring. Funny enough, when comparing pdf and jpg in Preview, the jpg is more jagged but it is not nearly as blurred as it becomes after importing into VC

One more thing I noticed: The anti-aliasing seems to occur in VC. When I zoom in to the jpg, you would expect to see an array of enlarged pixels in different shades of grey, but instead the picture becomes a continuous gradient of gray-tones. Max.
