I have Viacad 3D I use for lots of non home design related stuff, typically machine stuff. I plan to finish my basement and have been using it to lay out a plan.

Anyway, I'm wondering if it would be worth it to also invest in some for the Punch Home design stuff. I couldn't find any video tutorials for those products on the website so I went to the forums for that software. Wow, not sure what Bullcrap forum software they are using. Anyway I registered, and think I made a post, but can't find it. I haven't tried reposting incase entries need to be approved before they go up, and I don't want to start with a double post.

People here are always so helpful, so I figured I'd ask if anyone tried that stuff (I'd probably go for the "Home Design Studio Pro NexGen v2 for Mac), and if they thought it was worth it, or if they just went back to using Viacad, Shark, whatever...

And, BTW if you think the "traditional" products feature to software matrix is confusing, try figuring out the home design stuff...
