Is there a way to type the diameter symbol into a text line?

Looks like there's no easy autocad %%c way to do it :) The Alt-0216 method won't cooperate either. Gotta do it the old fashion way... open the Accessories - System Tools - Character Map. Pick the matching font and select/copy this diameter symbol/character. Then go to Shark and paste it into the text line or editor box. :| bye

The Alt-0216 method dosent work with laptops unless it has seperate keypad for numbers or use the numbers above the "mkjo" keys and it works. Should work with std keypads on keyboards as well? Regards Jason

Jason you are correct! I forgot about the keypad use/requirement. After i hit the NumLk key, the Alt-mkjo works! Thanks

Alt+0248 for the small one for getting the character codes the free MapOfChars (standalone, no install req.) is a neat alternative choice because the code of every char is listed. Norbert

I tried the alt 0216. Doesn't work with the numbers at the top of the keyboard but works fine using the number pad on the right of the keyboard. Good tip!
